As you may know if you have read my previous bedding related post, I love pretty prints on my bedding. I've now purchased two bedding sets that I wrote about in that post, which including the Butterfly Home bedding by Matthew Williamson, along with the Duck Egg Beautiful Birds Collection from Dunelm.
You can see how they look in my two bedrooms here:
I have the bedding set from Dunhelm in lilac too, which I use in the main bedroom. I really love both sets - I love the way they add colour and print to a room, and just give a happier, more vibrant feel.
My next job is removing the wallpaper in both rooms as I'd like more neutral colours - in the main bedroom I'd like a neutral lilac/grey shade on the main wall, and the other 3 walls magnolia, whilst in the guest room I'd like the feature wall a very pastel duck-egg colour, and the other walls magnolia. I really love the duck-egg shade, it's one of my favourite colours at the minute and as you can see, I'd like the guest room to have this theme in it. I also think it works really well with the dark wood furniture. I'm planning on doing this very soon, so I'll let you know how I get on with the wallpaper removal, as I've heard that it can be a bit of a pain!
